Minister: Iraq drills oil well near Iran’s border

According to Middle East Monitor, the Iraqi minister said the new oil well is to be drilled in Heveizeh oil field in vicinity of Iran's borders having the total capacity of one billion oil barrels.

Iraq’s state-owned oil and gas company “Missan” is to handle the project, Middle East Monitor said.
