Iran ready for fishery cooperation with Oman

Salehi and the Omani counterpart Hamed bin Said al-Oufi in Muscat also discussed ways to promote the two-way relations in fisheries.
Salehi provided his guest with a report on the volume of fishing in the northern and southern waters of Iran as well as in the Oman Sea and the Indian Ocean.
He talked about fish, shrimp and sturgeon farming, especially by method of marine caged culture.
Salehi added that fishery processing and production have promoted in Iran, so the country is ready for cooperation with the private sector of Oman.
The Iranian delegation, then, visited a number of fishing ports of Oman.
The fishery delegation will wrap up its five-day visit to Oman on Wednesday.
