Iran Khodro, Peugeot to launch joint production line in Iran soon

'As per a contract signed between Iran Khodro and Peugeot, the joint production line will be launched in late February,' Salehi-Nia told reporters on the sidelines of touring Farda car manufacturing company in Semnan Industrial Township on Saturday.

He also said that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Saipa automaker and some famous international car manufacturers will also become operations next year.

Salehi-Nia said that a total of 1.8 million cars are produced in the country every year.
