Armenian trade delegation visits economic capacities of Delijan city

The Armenian delegation accompanied by Ambassador Artashes Tumanyan and a number of Armenian diplomats in Tehran embassy visited some industrial units in Delijan.
The Armenian group visited moisture insulation production factory, Polyester fibers plant and herbal processing factory.
They also visited Nakhjir Cavern, desalination and refining unit, herbal extract factory in Delijan.
Governor of Delijan Mohammad Kordi briefed the audience on the economic capabilities of the town.
Kordi said Delijan reserves top rank in production of polyester fibers and moisture insulation in the country and 16,000 employees are working in the units.
Head of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the city Majid Talebi said Delijan has production and export capabilities and currently 18 industrial units have exportable goods.
He added that Delijan products are exported to 14 countries, including Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan, China, Tajikistan, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, the Netherland, Armenia, Kazakhstan, South Korea and Turkmenistan.
The Armenian group is to hold meeting with Delijan mayor and city council to discuss the issue of sisterhood between an Armenian city with Delijan.
The city has 400 industrial units.
