Airbus selling 28 planes to Iranian airliner: Press statement

According to the statement by the global passenger plane manufacturer, the Iranian domestic carrier Zagros Airlines is going to buy 20 Airbus (AIR.PA) A320 NEO family series jets as well as eight A330 NEO aircrafts.

This is while, the privatized Iranian Airtour Airlines has signed an MoU to buy 45 A320 NEO planes.

The MoU was signed in Paris, between Airbus Chief Operating Officer and Airbus President Fabrice Bregier and Managing Director of Zagros Airlines Abdolreza Mousavi.

Iran ordered over 200 planes after removal of international sanctions against the country.
