69pc growth in Tehran-Moscow trade exchange: Russian minister

During his talks with members of the Iranian delegation here, Novak said the increase became possible with the implementation of mutual agreements.

The talks were held in Moscow Friday evening on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 16-17-18.

Russia and Iran had increase in their trade exchange, while Moscow witnessed decrease in its economic ties with some countries even with China during the mentioned period, Novak said.

For his part, Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh who led the Iranian delegation in Moscow said Tehran welcomes all-out ties with Moscow.

He then called for further growth in bilateral relations.

Iran and Russia are planned to touch the ten-billion-dollar worth of exchange in near future.
