1st purchased ATR aircraft lands in Tehran Mehrabad Airport

The four planes are scheduled to land in Tehran in four-minute time intervals.

All four planes were delivered officially to Iran’s national flag-carrier Iran Air on Tuesday in Toulouse–Blagnac Airport.

Iran Air has purchased 20 planes four of which join Iran Air fleet today.

Civil Aviation Organization of Iran issued the license on Tuesday for ATR aircraft to fly in short distances.

The implementation of Iran nuclear deal also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the visit to Paris by President Hassan Rouhani on Jan 27, 2016, opened the way for Airbus and Iran to ink the preliminary contract for the purchase of 100 civilian aircraft.
