Tehran, Muscat underline strengthening media diplomacy

Referring to the efforts made in direction to create Iranophobia, role of media, especially Islamic states' media in showing realities in Iran is a key role and added that journalists and media have pivotal role in drawing picture of the existing realities in Iran and reflecting it in the region and world.

Entezami referred to old and positive relations between the two countries and noticeable role of Muscat in regional equations and nuclear deal and welcomed media shuttling between Iran and Oman and called it a cause for strengthening relations and consolidating ties.

The deputy minister also presented a report on number and diversity of media in Iran and explained Iranian press law.

The Omani delegation welcomed an increase in cultural relations , strengthening media ties, using media experiences in international and regional dimensions, establishment of representative office for Oman TV in Iran and praised Islamic Republic of Iran’s successes in different international and regional arena.
