Sharif University key pillar of scientific growth in Iran: UN senior advisor

Professor Thomas Andersson made the description during a meeting with a number of officials at the university including the chancellor Mahmoud Fotouhi.

Also, the situation of science, technology and innovation in Sharif University of Technology was reviewed in the meeting.

According to innovaventures.com, Thomas Andersson was previously Deputy Director for Science, Technology and Industry at the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 1996 to 2001.

Sharif.ir reports: “SCIMAGO Institutions Rankings Website has announced the best universities in Iran in 2016 and according to this ranking; Sharif University of Technology (SUT) is ranked first among universities of technology and third among all universities in Iran.”
