Photo exibition on Iranian women underway in Tehran

Jointly organized by the Vice-Presidency for Women and Family Affairs and the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the exibition displays 80 photos taken by IRNA’s photojournalists.

The participation and the capabilities of Iranian women and portraying the role they play in various spheres are the main themes of the photos.

The exibition is being held as Iranian people are getting prepared for the upcoming Iranian new year called Nowruz.

Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs Shahindokht Molaverdi, the United Nations Information Center (UNIC), Tehran, Director Maria Dotsenko, and the Managing Director of IRNA Mohammad Khodaddi are going to deliver speeches in the opening ceremony.

The exibition is underway for one week in Milad tower.
