Iran’s ‘Cold Breath’ public screening dedicated to Kiarostami in Europe

Talking to IRNA, Abbas Raziji director and producer of the Iranian film ‘Cold Breath’ said the film would be screened in several cinemas across Europe.

He said the late Kiarostami had played a key role in introducing the Iranian cinema to the world, Europe in particular.

Raziji said the film is to vie at the 14th edition of the Salento International Film Festival (SIFF) taking place from September 1 to 9, 2017 in the City of Tricase, Salento Apulia.

Raziji noted that the film has so far attended more than 40 international festivals across the world and has managed to win several awards.

The movie narrates the story of a woman called Maryam who's passed thirty and the hardships she faces everyday.

The ‘Cold Breath’ stars Bita Baderan, Majid Mozaffari, Parichehr Riali, Hamideh Barati and Ezzatollah Ramezanifar.
