Iran’s cinema praised for its artistic, cultural authenticity

The representative of Slovakian state radio and television Monika Mikusova made the remarks on the sidelines of the 35th Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) currently underway in Tehran.

She also described the Iranian cinema as fascinating which has preserved its unique cultural characteristics.

She said her visit to Iran is aimed at attending the prestigious festival and buying several movies from the Iranian market to be aired by Slovakia state TV.

Miskusova described the festival as the best venue to get acquainted with Iran’s cinema.

The Fajr International Film Festival inaugurated in Tehran on Friday attended by 350 foreign guests, including filmmakers, sellers, and filmmaking students.

The prestigious international gathering would wrap up on April 28.
