According to a report, released by Iran’s embassy in Guinea, the medical team included 18 Iranian specialized physicians.
The team travelled to Guinea by Iran's Muslim Doctors Without Borders on Sunday.
Spouse of Guinea president, who is responsible for the biggest charity institute in the country, hosted the team.
The team comprises cardiologists, dermatologists, Infectious disease specialists, surgeons, gynecologists and pediatricians.
The medical team is due to stay in Guinea for one week and is scheduled to visit patients, hold meetings with counterparts and conduct surgeries.
