Combination of Iranian culture, scientific principles in work of UNESCO prize winner

'Prix Versailles is a precious award given to the works in which architects can well combine trade and culture,' Morteza Adib told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on the sidelines of the award ceremony held in the Algerian capital.

In his work which was chosen by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as the best, Adib has tried to present an architectural project using ancient Iranian culture and history.

The 2015 inaugurated Prix Versailles is an award annually dedicated to the commercial architecture.
