Colors of Persian music in Italy

The exhibition including 30 pieces of paintings of 19 women artists was held in Gipsoteca Classical Art Museum of Sapienza University of Rome with the collaboration of cultural section of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s embassy in Italy.

The art pieces presented in this exhibition are a selection chosen from the last February workshop put on by an an Italian artist in Tehran. The paintings were created with the subject of Iranian music and musical instruments.

“This exhibition is a symbolic event in the framework of ties between the two countries with great civilizations. Iran was the host of the educational workshop and now Italy is hosting the results of it,” said the Islamic Republic of Iran’s attaché Akbar Gholi.
