'Mazandaran police captured the smugglers of antiques as soon as it was informed,' said Second Brigadier General Amir Rahmat-Elahi on Tuesday.

'In two different operations, nine items, including pottery and clay jugs, were found and seized.'

The detained were delivered to the judicial authorities, he added.
