Iran's air defense system has been promoted considerably in different fields such as detection, radar system, electronic eavesdropping equipment and Identification, friend or foe (IFF) system, he said.

Installation of various systems has resulted in constant monitoring of the country’s air space, Esmaeili added.

He went on to say that the artillery and missile systems which have been indigenized have fulfilled our need to fight against aerial targets.
