Majlis Speaker: Iran acted favorably in region to resore peace, stability

Larijani made the remarks in a ceremony to honor the parliamentary correspondents on the National Reporter's Day.

He said that there is no doubt that today's issues of the country are complicated as they have gained multiple dimensions.

'Iran took wise steps about nuclear issue and acted correctly to reach a settlement with the international community. Nuclear case was not a small case, but Iran took true steps in the field,' Larijani said.

He further noted that some attempted to crate obstacles in the way of nuclear issue. Nuclear issue has not finished yet.

Larijani expressed deep concern about the tumultuous situation in the region, saying that Iran acted very cleverly and took stable decisions.

Iran is sensitive to regional issues, Larijani said, noting, 'Security issues should be pursued carefully and both internal and external issues are important to us.'

Larijani also called for special attention to economy and social maladies by the media.
