Operations underway to contain fire in Bandar Imam Petchem plant

Shahidinia told IRNA that all the regional firefighters have been dispatched to the area to extinguish fire in the BDSR depot.

Bandar Imam petrochemical plant is a petrochemical facility in Mahshahr PETZONE and its products are ethane, butane, propane, ethylene, pentane, gasoline pyrolysis, crude residue, xyelens, rafinite, heavy aromatics and Paraxylene (PX). It is the first major producer of petrochemical products in Iran for its high production capacity.
The complex owns three subsidiary companies, namely Bandar Imam Processing Company, Kimia and Besparan.
