North Korean Ambassador in Tehran Kang Sam Hyon, for his part, said that Tehran and Pyongyang can develop cooperation in various fields of sports and youth.
Proposing joint camping and friendly contests between the two countries in volleyball and basketball, the envoy said that the DPRK is ready to host Iranian athletes in the two courses.
He hailed Iran's high capacity in wrestling, saying, 'We seek exchange of sports techniques and information through enhanced sports cooperation.'
