Iran ranks 4th in 2018 World Robot Olympiad

According to WRO official website, 'This year's WRO theme is Food Matters, it focuses on the way we grow, share and consume food.'

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Wednesday, Iranian coach Sina Tavously said Iran had earlier ranked 5th in 2015 Qatar competitions.

Malaysia, Philippines and Russia ranked 1st and 3rd respectively, he added.

The World Robot Olympiad is a global robotics competition for young people. The World Robot Olympiad competition uses Lego Mindstorms manufactured by LEGO Education. First held in 2004 in Singapore, it now attracts more than 20,000 teams from nearly 60 countries.
