“This is an important and decisive stage. We face an unjust aggression aimed at our dignity, our identity and our belonging,” said Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi.
He made the remarks in the ceremony to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) held in Yemeni capital city of Sana'a on Tuesday evening.
“The enemy is targeting you in your faith, your awareness, your honor and your morals, as well as with its weapons and missiles,' adding that Yemenis should not lose their hope, uphold their identity and resemble the culture of the Holy Quran.
Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi. The invaders have committed horrible war crimes against Yemeni civilians during the past three years.
Over 16,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
