UN chief extends condolences over Iran's plane crash

'Deeply saddened to learn of the tragic airplane accident today near Yasuj, Iran, United Nations Secretary-General has extended his heartfelt condolences to the country’s people and Government,' he said in a message issued by his spokesman Stéphane Dujarric.

An Iranian passenger plane of Asseman Airlines hit Dena Mountains, 120 km from Semirom, Isfahan Province, early Sunday morning. The debris of the plane has not been found yet, but all 66 people onboard are feard dead in the tragic incident.
