Hasan Al Nash made the remarks Sunday after his team was defeated by Iran 3-0 and was removed from 2020 Olympic qualifiers.
The 2020 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXII Olympiad and commonly known as Tokyo 2020, is an upcoming international multi-sport event that is scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020 in Tokyo, Japan.
Referring to Yemeni team’s efforts, he said Iran put extra pressure on Yemen in the very first seconds of the second half.
He added that the Yemeni team is in special conditions since it has been created just for one month.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hasan Al Nash pointed to Iran and Iraq as two main rivals for Yemen.
Meanwhile, earlier Iraq overpowered Yemen with 5 goals.
In their most serious match, Iranian squad is supposed to stand against Iraq on Tuesday.
