Mohammad Dehqan went on to say on Saturday that during the same period, the export of goods from Western Azarbaijan's customs was 9% higher than last year.
He added that during this period, 464,000 tons of goods worth 765 million dollars were exported from the customs of the West Azarbaijan.
"This year, the most exports were related to the Bazargan Customs, and the most increase in exports is related to Poldasht customs."
The head of the West Azarbaijan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said that the main target countries for exporting goods from the customs of the province were Iraq, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Germany, France and Spain.
The official also highlighted that the main exported goods are dedicated to foodstuffs, including biscuits, all kinds of juices, chocolates, agricultural products and metal products.
