Yunes Zhaele told reporters on Saturday that Tabriz is seeking to further improve trade ties between the two countries and it will draw on capacities of the two countries’ diplomacy apparati in this respect.

Referring to the problems faced by the Iranian and Turkish businessmen following US sanctions, he said that efforts are underway to solve the problems in cooperation with Turkish businessmen.

Iran’s balance of exports to Turkey is positive due to export of oil products to the country, he said, noting that some goods should be imported from Turkey to make trade reciprocal.
