Two Iranian GR wrestlers rank 3rd, 4th in UWW rankings

Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Qasem Rezaei, in the 98-kilogram category, and Saeed Abdvali, in the 75-kilogram category, maintained their position as the world’s third and fourth best athletes of the United World Wrestling rankings respectively.

Hamid Sourian, a six-time world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling who won the ticket for 2016 Rio Olympics in his last chance in qualifying tournaments, ranked 15th in the latest UWW ranking in 59 weight class.

Meanwhile, Rezaei also ranked third as best athletes of the United World Wrestling rankings in 2016.

He grabbed a bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling in Rio 2016 Olympics.
