In his message which was released on Sunday, Larijani congratulated the victory to the Iranian people, weightlifters and the technical board.
Iranian men's national weightlifting team ranked third at the 2018 World Weightlifting Championships which was held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
The Iranian weightlifters defeated their counterparts from Russia, the US, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan during the tournament.
By collecting a total of 724 and 481 points, China and Belarus ranked first and second, respectively at the 2018 World Weightlifting Championships.
The 2018 World Weightlifting Championships started in Ashgabat on November 1and ended on November 10.
