Iran's women kayakers win Asian bronze medal

The Iranian women national team won the medal in women's 200-meter four-person kayak and finished third in the Asian championship.

The competitions are underway in China's Shanghai on October 15 to 18.

Sprint kayak is a sport in which athletes race kayaks or canoes on calm water.

Race categories vary by the number of athletes in the boat, the length of the course, and whether the boat is a canoe or kayak. Canoe sprints are sometimes referred to as flat water racing.
