Iran’s Greco-Roman broken-ears shine in India Champs

The two-day Asian Championships in Greco-Roman section kicked off today.

In the weight category of 66 kg, Iranian athlete Ali Arsalan defeated North Korea 2-0.

During the second match, Arsalan also hit his Indian rival 5-3.

Iranian wrestler in 98kg weight category Motafa Salehizadeh overpowered his Kazakh 7-1.

In the second round Salehizadeh defeated the Indian wresler 5-0.

Behnam Mahdizadeh in the weight category of 130kg hit South Korea 3-1.

80kg Ramin Taheri overshined the Kyrgyz wrestler 8-0.

Other Iranian wrestlers will go to the mat on Thursday.

The freestyle championships are scheduled to be held on May 13-14.
