Iranian wrestlers shine in 21st Kiev Int’l Tournament

Mansour Kiani told IRNA on Saturday that the event started on Friday in the Ukrainian capital

Afzali won his medal in the weight category 74kg of freestyle while Beheshti snatched medal in weight category 59kg of Greco-Roman.

“In final stage, Afzali defeating Belarusian rival 8-0 ranked first,” Kiani said.

“During the final match, Beheshti was overpowered by Ukrainian rival and he ranked second,” he added.

The 21st Kiev International Tournament started on March 3 in Ukraine and the event was dedicated to the famous Ukrainian wrestlers and coaches.
