Iranian weightlifters top in Asian champs

During the fifth day of the event which was also the last day, athletes competed in 85kg, 94kg, and +94kg, 105kg and +105kg weight categories.

2017 Asian Youth & Junior Men's & Women's Weightlifting Championships was held on July 21-29 in Nepal.

According to the tournament website, gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the first three athletes in the Snatch, the Clean & Jerk and the Total in each bodyweight category.

Trophies will be awarded to the best in Total respectively for both women's and men's Youth and Junior competitions in accordance with the IWF Team Classification (IWF TCRR 6.8.3).
