Iranian shooter bags gold at UAE World Cup

In 50-meter rifle category, Javanmardi and Mahdi Zamani were listed among 8 top shooters and advanced to final stage.

During the final match, Javanmardi with 220.6 points ranked first.

Two representatives from China ranked second and third.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Sareh Javanmardi’s late burst bumped her into a gold-medal performance. Javanmardi was trailing out of medal contention in the first stage, but a streak of scores of 10.1 and higher gave her a final score of 232.8 in the P2 (10m air pistol women’s SH1), International Paralympic Committee (IPC) reported.
