Iranian senior lifter stands on 1st place in 2017 Russian champs

After lifting the 142-kg weight, Mohammad Bahaedin Azizi in the weight category of 82.5 kg snatched a gold medal.

Thirty-two Iranian lifters in four age categories of teenagers, juveniles, adults and seniors participated in the event.

In team section, Iranian male squad ranked second while Russia stood on the first place.

The event was held on June 1-4 in Moscow.
