Iranian muay thai fighter wins gold medal in Asian games

Keivan Soleimani from Kurdistan Province in the men's -75 finals defeated an athlete from Kazakhstan and won the gold medal of the tournament.

He had beaten two Muay fighters from the host country and Iraq respectively in the first and second matches to win the medal.

The 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games September 17-22 is underway in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

Iranian national team comprises 12 members and two head coaches are taking part in the games.
