Baqeri in the weight category of – 55 kg defeated rivals from Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

After defeating Belarus, she advanced the semi-final match and overpowered China.

In – 50 kg weight category, Bahmanyar overpowered karatekas from Dominican Republic and Peru.

After defeating Morocco, she advanced the semi-final match.

In the semi-final match, she overshined the German fighter and reached the final game.

During the final game, she was overpowered by her Spanish rival and bagged a silver medal.

The 2017 X WKF Junior, Cadet and U21 Championships is underway with the attendance of over 1,700 athletes from 109 countries in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain.
