Iraqi official hails Iran media support for Iraq

'Iranian media play major role in supporting Iraq's territorial integrity,' Hamoudi said in a meeting with Deputy Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Ramezan Mousavi.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the important role of media in fostering culture of moderation and tolerance throughout the region.

They also talked about commitment of the media and the role of media in cultivating culture in the Islamic world and in protecting it against aggressions.

The two officials also discussed ways to end media and information monopoly sustained by the Western mainstream media and fostering cooperation between Iranian and Iraqi media.
