Amir Hussein Zare snatched a gold medal in the 110 kg weight category while Mohmmad Reza Qiasi and Mohammad Karimi won a silver and a bronze medals in 80 and 65 kg weight classes respectively.

Other Iranian wrestlers are to face their rivals in five other weight classes in the Croatian capital city Wednesday.

The tournament kicked off with men’s freestyle July 2-4, followed by women’s freestyle July 4-6 with Greco-Roman closing out the event on July 6-8.
