Director of provincial Foreign Investment Negotiations Hall Bahman Jabbari told IRNA on Tuesday that the agreements were inked by municipalities of Shirvan, Asfarayen, Ashkhaneh, Bojnourd, Lujali and Gorgan and Iranian and foreign companies.

Noting that 14 of the MoUs were signed with foreign firms, he added that the agreements dealt with investments in various projects including building vertical parking lots, funfair, solar panels, telecabins, and cultural and recreational complexes.

Jabbari also said that German Representative Office also signed a memorandum of understanding with provincial Electricity Distribution Company to implement a clean energy project.

Located in northeastern Iran, North Khorasan is hosting investors from China, Greece, Italy, Qatar and Kyrgyzstan.
