Iran U-16 Football Team Comes 3rd at Uzbekistan Tournament

In the match held at the Jar Stadium, Vahid Namdari, Mohammad Sharifi, Mohammad Sardari, Mohammad Ghaderi and Erfan Sadeghi (two goals) scored for the Iranian team.

Iran drew 0-0 with Japan in the first day of the tournament and lost to host Uzbekistan 2-1.

Japan won the tournament after defeating Uzbekistan 2-0 thanks to two goals from Suganava Yokinori (73) and Hiroshi Yamada (86).
