Following positive reports from Iran's hosting the previous edition of the competitions, the FIVB has agreed to Iran's request for hosting two weeks in 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League.

Some other countries like Russia, Canada and Poland have also called for hosting two weeks of the competitions, but their requests were rejected by FIVB.
