The Iranian team ranked third after collecting a total of 448 points at the 2018 World Weightlifting Championships in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
The Iranian weightlifters defeated their counterparts from Russia, the US, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan during the tournament.
China and Belarus by collecting a total of 724 and 481 points ranked first and second respectively at 2018 World Weightlifting Championships.
The 2018 World Weightlifting Championships in Ashgabat started on 1 November and ended on 10 November.
