Iran ranks 3rd in World Taekwondo Pomsea Champs

China and Chinese Taipei ranked first and second respectively. Meanwhile, Iran and Philippines jointly stood third in the event.

The championship opened in Lima, Peru, on Sept 29 attended by 762 athletes from 52 countries.

In the meantime, Iran managed to snatch the silver medal in the age range of 31 in the competition.

Turkey bagged the gold medal of the championship in the same age range.

Chinese Taipei and Brazil jointly stood third in the event.

Poomsae is a defined pattern of defense-and-attack motions in Taekwondo.
