Brazil is on top and Iranian team which won intercontinental cup has ranked second for the first time.
Portugal, Russia, Italy, Tahiti, Paraguay, Switzerland, Spain and Japan ranked third to tenth, respectively.
'Following a remarkable campaign in the Huawei Intercontinental Cup in Dubai, Iran take Portugal’s place to move into second position in the beach soccer world rankings, at the same time claiming the November Movers of the Month title,' Beach Soccer Worldwide announced.
'Iran topped the group with nine points, saw off Egypt in the semi-final and then handed a 4-2 defeat to Russia in the final to repeat their 2013 success in Dubai. They gained 162 points to take them above Portugal and just one behind world champions Brazil.'
Earlier, Iranian soccer player Mohammad Moradi has become 2018 world phenomenon.
