Iran karate fighter stands 2nd in Turkey Champs

Some 400 fighters from 16 countries participated in the event, Head of Astara karate squad Ghafour Nasiri told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Wednesday.

Despite being injured, Nasirzadeh in the weight category of 70kg advanced to final match and received the second title.

Turkey and Kazakhstan ranked first and third, respectively.
