Iran junior weightlifting team crowned champion of Asia

Iran took the first title by scoring 591 points followed by Uzbekistan with 562 points and Vietnam with 548 points.

In the 77kg weight category, Iranian weightlifter Hussein Soltani bagged three gold medals, while Afshin Taheri bagged on silver and one bronze medals in 85kg weight category. In 94 kg weight class, Rasoul Motamedi won two silver and one bronze medals.

Other Iranian medalists are Amir Azizi with three bronze medals, Arman Mohammadzadeh with three gold medals and Mohammad Hussein Reisi with two silver medals in 105 kg and plus 105 kg weight-classes respectively.
