Iran, Indonesia discuss sport cooperation

Nasrabadi pointed to good and growing trend of relations in all fields, including sports, and congratulated first position of Indonesia in Para-ASEAN Games in Malaysia.

Indonesian different Para teams by grabbing 126 gold medals ranked first in Malaysia Para-ASEAN Games.

Nasrabadi Voiced Iran's readiness to expand sport relations with Indonesia in all fields and said that following visit of Indonesian minister to Iran, the two sides are witnessing exchange of athletics delegations between the two countries.

Referring to 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, the ambassador expressed Iran's readiness to cooperate in holding the games.

Imam Nahrowi pointed to his visit to Iran in 2 years ago, and said that Iran has equipped and modern sport complexes, so considering 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia interested to use Iran's experiences in the field of sport infrastructures.

He appreciated Iran's Ministry of Sports and Youth for sending executive proposals plan and said that the document is under consideration now.
