Trump remarks confession to Iran power: IRGC top commander

Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami said in reaction to US President Donald Trump's anti-Iranian remarks in the 72nd UN General Assembly.

'While the whole region is facing crisis and unrest, Islamic Iran is in peace and security powerfully,' he noted.

The US president used a hawkish rhetoric towards Iranian nation in his recent speech at the 72nd UN General Assembly. He alleged the Islamic Republic is exporting violence and chaos to the region.

Contrary to Trump's remarks, regional states in various occasions have thanked Iran's support in fight against terrorism and extremism.
