Mahdizadeh defeated Serbian, Thai and Iranian karate fighters and received a bronze medal.

In -84 kg, Zabihollah Pour Shib hit Kazakh rival and received a gold medal.

Miaad Yari in the weight category of -60 kg also bagged a gold medal.

Amir Mahdizadeh in the weight category of -67 kg earned a bronze medal.

The event was held with the attendance of 1,176 karate fighters from 80 countries.
