Iran beach volleyball squad praised for winnig Asia title

Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in a message also congratulated the national beach volleyball team, technical board, their families and the country sport community on the occasion.

Iranian team managed to defeat Indonesia 2-1 in the final game of AVC Beach Volleyball Championship in Thailand to become champion in the tournament.

Iran conceded the second set to Indonesia 21-12, but managed to defeat its rival in the first and third sets 22-20 and 15-12, respectively.

In the tournament, Australia defeated Qatar 2-0 (23-21 and 21-14) to win the third place.
